Deepening with the Trees

First four classes (of thirteen): January-March, 2026

What are the simple daily devotions to the Earth & the Cosmos that bring us great meaning?

These times call us to this kind of question.

Trees are our Wise Ancestors. As people, we come from deep relation with Trees & this kinship is still ever-present. Let us once again look to Trees who understand how to work in community, who know how to offer devotion daily with their dance in the wind, who know how to live in an ever-dynamic balance with their surroundings, who know how to transform death into life, who know how to live among the elements in a constant way & have great wisdom to offer.

‘Deepening with the Trees’ is based on a year-long course, devoting a year to the Trees; I am splitting this into three sections for the 2026 year, Winter/

Spring & Summer/Autumn. The Winter series has the first four classes of thirteen.

In each class, we will honor two trees, be promoted to find where they live in our own surroundings & spend time with them. In the classes, we will touch on some Tree identification & the physical, emotional, spiritual medicine of these Trees. Each class will have a focus on a way of being that the Trees specialize in.

We will explore different ways of relating with these ancient allies from recipes, spirit work ideas, & journaling, to tree movement & journeys with the trees. We will share in Tree tea & create a medicine with one of the Trees being honored. Continued work with the trees during the months is encouraged.

Classes will be held Monday eves, 6-8 pm, Belfast location TBA.

Winter Series: Jan 26, Feb 16, March 19 & 30

(Spring/Summer & Autumn Series will be announced as the time draws nearer.)

Winter Section:

Jan 26: Grieving: Pine/Peach

Feb 16: Protection: Rowan/Cedar

March 9: Clearing/Listening: Alder/Ash

March 30: Rising in a Spiral: Birch/Maple

Winter Series: $110-160, sliding scale. Class size limited to 10.

20% of the class proceeds will go to Niweskok: From the Stars to Seeds
